   *   Call to order by ECBOA President Bernard Arnette @1910.

   *   Acknowledgement to the newly formed Hospitality Committee board liaison Joe Erwin for their

         efforts with refreshments for tonight’s meeting.

   *   Welcome to all returning ECBOA Officials to our new season.

*   Awards and certificates were presented to officials.  Joe Erwin was acknowledged for winning official

     of the year for the 2007-2008 seasons.

 * Welcome to all first time officials who wish to join ECBOA association. Sixteen new officials joined

    the ranks. After each personal introduction all new officials were assigned mentors based on

     geographic locations.

  * ECBOA board members introduced to the body. Emphasis on we are here to serve you the

     association. Feel free to call on us as needed.

* One objective was to have the committees in place at the beginning of the year and we were able to

    introduce all committees to the body.

    Brain Jones, Hector Sanchez, Ad Hoc Mark DeAtley and Steve Haughn

*   Assignment Committee:  Board Liaison Tree Krellner, members Roy Rockoff, Tony Payne

      Lacca Brommell, Bob Burns, Dave Condon

*  Grievance Committee:  Board Liaison Allen Mosley  members to be named later.

*  Acknowledgement of last year Officials whom represented ECBOA at the FHSAA State

    Tournament Final Four: Girls Daniel Brooks, Tony Payne, Dave Condon  Boys Mark DeAtley,

    Bernard Arnette, and John Fouchett

*  Introduction of Secretary: Please make sure all sign in sheets are legible and all personal info is

    accurate.

*  Treasury Report:  ECBAO fee for this year was increased to $45.00 up from $35.00 last year.

    You can register on line at ECBOA.org and go to pay pal

    Process register and pay Joe Erwin and he forwards your application to Allen and then on to Mark

    DeAtley to give you access to Arbiter our official assignor site.

   *  Assignor Mark DeAtley, Kudos for the success of the camp held during the summer at West Boca.

          Arbiter is our scheduling site for the year. No access until you have registered with both FHSAA

           and ECBOA.

    *   Please familiarize yourself with all three web sites: ECBOA.org, FHSAA, and Arbiter.com

    *   First games of the year start around 11-17-08.

    *   This year as much as possible Assignor will assign games based on geographic locations in order to

      off set cost of gas.

 *   New Officials will meet 11-1-08 for two person mechanics

*    Returning and Transfer Officials will meet 11-8-08 for three person mechanics/Try outs for

      Varsity level games.

*    Every four years officials are required to attend a sanctioned Field Clinic this year to be hosted at

      Atlantic High School more information to come.

*    Executive Secretary: Welcome to all new Officials.

*   Breakout Session for Training hosted by Training Committee.
